Road Trip
I went on a roadtrip with my three friends to Lexington, Kentucky which is a three hour drive from my house. We had to drive back also. My parents were kind of nervous, but I finally convinced them because it was a school basketball game. Our boys basketball team made it to state which was kind of a big deal, so we were very excited. The car ride was the funnest part for sure. My two friends who sat in the front made their chairs scoot as far forward as they could-where their faces were in the dashboard and the other's was on the steering wheel. Then we drove past a semi driver and my friend on the right was waving at him and at first he smiled and waved back and as we passed him he sped back up and kept looking. He looked concerned for her safety. So we drove away really fast. It was the funniest thing ever.
A Long Drive
My grandfather owns a 2008 two seater Mercedes convertible. He had owned it for a month when we went to spring break together. My parents drove the car down to Florida, then I got to drive it around when we got down there. He was very cautious, but my grandmother was even more concerned because I had had my permit for less than a month. Then, the unthinkable happened-he let me drive it from Florida all the way back to Owensboro. It was a long drive, and Nashville was the hardest, but me and the car made it all the way home.
New Car
A few months after my sixteenth birthday I received a new car. It was a '98 red camero. The surprising thing was that it was stick shift. So my new task was to learn to drive it. The next day, we had to take it to Champion to get it checked out and my dad let me drive it. It was a task let me tell you. I killed it at least four times, and that was before we even left the neighborhood. Next, I killed it at a turn light in the middle of Frederica three times. It took me three days to get the shifting down, but my dad said it took me three weeks to get the clutch down. But, I've been driving for a lot of months now and I think I'm a pretty good driver.
New Job
I applied for a job at Rue 21 in the mall. My parents told me that I needed to get a job to learn responsibility so I put in applications to many places. In return, I got an interview at Rue 21. The interview was suprisingly fast. The lady was very friendly and said they would get back to me during the next week if they wanted to hire me. I got a call the next wednesday and she said I got the job and to come in that friday to fill out paper work. So we'll see how this new "job thing" will turn out.

Desperate Housewives
I started watching desperate housewives for the first time this week. It is very entertaining and i see why its lasted as many seasons as it has. One of the funny things was Lynette is a stay at home, mother of four: three boys and one girl. She has two twin boys and they are awful and uncontrollable. They wear her down and shes so tired and then she gets an invite to a party and finds a babysitter but then her husband doesnt want to go so she cancels the sitter. Then he says they can go, but its too late. And he tells her I'll watch the kids you go. and she says he wont be able to handle it and he tells her, "their just kids; its not that hard." And that makes her mad. So she loads them up on candy and cookies before she leaves. Then he she comes home her husband is exhuasted on the couch and is just laying there and has food and everything all over him. She then asks him how everything went. and he tells her "you know we're raising demon children, right?" It was just entertaining because he didnt understand how hard of a job she had until he experienced it.
New Haircut
I have had the same haircut for almost my whole life: longer bangs, a little bit longer than average hair and its been brown. Well, recently i dyed my hair darker..blacker. Then I got bored with that. So, this weekend i went to the hair salon and got side bangs and had them parted on the opposite side than what i normally do. I like them overall, they just take a little getting used to.
The Roommate
I went and saw this movie with my friends: Hannah Harper, Jackie Lohmann, Mackenzie Clark, and Hannah Tipton last friday night when it first came out. The movie was very jumpy and a good teen horror/suspense movie. There were some gross parts, don't get me wrong. For example, there was one part where the psycho roommate attacked a girl in the shower and ripped her bully button out. But, the overall movie was a successful scary movie i thought.
